Until early April 2026, the Net Zero Energy Project contractor, Vital Energi, will be working on the replacement of the existing boilers with a district heating pipework connection from the Bowland Main plant room into the Welcome Centre rooftop plant room.

From Monday 30 March to Wednesday 1 April, the Net Zero Energy Project contractor, Vital Energi, will be installing new pipework support foundations and bracketry on the to enable new district heating connections into the building.

• Excavations will be carried out using a mini digger for the installation of the support foundations, causing some noise and disruption.

• There will be localised noise during the bracketry installation and whilst a concrete delivery takes place.
