Professor Jasmine Fledderjohann

Professor in Sociology and Social Justice

Research Overview

Broadly speaking, my research focuses on social justice and inequalities, particularly in the area of health and well-being. With a global focus, I examine 1) food security and nutrition; 2) sexual and reproductive health; and 3) digital inequities. I am currently a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow. My fellowship examines the measurement and sociocultural correlates of food insecurity in Ethiopia, India, Peru, and Vietnam. Further details of the project can be found at: https://wp.lancs.ac.uk/foodequity/. (Please note: I cannot fund PhD studentships, and all postdoctoral roles on the project have already been filled.)
